CARAPUÇA ARMCHAIR

One of the most controversial phenomena in our country's history, the cangaço, is made up of popular heroes and a lot of resistance. Carapuça's inspiration comes from the characteristic hat of the cangaceiros, who were carefully elaborated and who became the greatest symbol of these men, who wore colorful clothes and worked with care, with the main objective to give them a singular voice, a face and a personality. In the hat, made up of flaps folded, were used "magic" symbols, which fulfilled not only an aesthetic function, but also evoked protection and power.
